Because sometimes the picture doesn't come out like something is loose with the insert that plugs into the TV and from Blu-Ray Player.

Not sure if it was Cat-6 or the cable itself, or my router, but I have a gigabit connection with Verizon and I only got 500 Mbps/s up and down. Definitely didn't stop me from doing what I needed to do but it's half of what I paid for.
