Was hoping to use this from my tv to my sound bar so I didn’t have to take my tv off the wall, but once I got it hooked up I lost control of my soundbar with my tv remote. Could not get it to work properly no matter what settings I changed. Ended up taking the tv off the wall and running a longer hdmi. Solved my issue. Tried this on another device to confirm and same thing. Just doesn’t work well and you lose your basic cec controls.
