I do home-brew and have done a lot of research to try to find a good kegerator for my home-brew. This one did everything I wanted and was the best price, even better than the one Costco carries. If you want to use for home-brew you will have to buy some adaptors to fit it to your home-brew (corny) kegs. I spent about $30 at my local home-brew store getting everything I needed to convert it. This kegerator is a great combination of reasonable size and lots of inside space. First off you can easily fit 2 corny kegs and have room for a few 6 packs or what I do is keep about 8 chilled mugs ready for serving. I plan to add a third tap at some point because there is enough room (barely) for 3 corny's or 2 full corny's and one smaller keg you can set on the shelf where the CO2 tank goes (I keep my CO2 tank on the outside). There are 4 nice caster wheels on the bottom that make moving it around easy, 2 of them lock to keep it from moving around. Overall I highly recommend this! I got it on a deal of the day for under $400 and it shows up on deal of the day every once in a while. There is a single tap one also if you only want one type of brew but I highly recommend the 2 tap so you have the option of multiple brews.

Really enjoying this product, everything in description has performed as expected. Just keep psi between 10- 12 and you'll get a great consistent draw. Set my temperature at my preference and it's been rock solid. Very nice flash sale purchase

Nice kegerator for two “sixth kegs”....easily gets to 33-34 degrees. One improvement would be Perlick Faucets - easy change down the road.....regulator is nice easy adjustment for perfect pour minimal foam. Give it a try, you’ll like it!

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He loves it and we both get to pick out one of our favorite beers when we go to replace the kegs. You can't beat the price. I would recommend this for my friends and family!

The kegerator arrived in a reasonable amount of time... or should I say that the wrong one arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Getting Best Buy to correct their error and get the right one shipped out was a rather challenging adventure involving numerous calls with long wait times and support staff that seemed like their priority was getting me off the phone and out of their hair. Ultimately, it seemed that a few FaceBook posts on the Best Buy site is what had the most impact in getting the issue straightened out. In the long run, the first (incorrect) kegerator arrived 1 week after ordering and the replacement (correct) one arrived 10 days after that. The final (correct) kegerator arrived with the box a little beat up with a few holes punched in it and upon unpacking I found the Styrofoam packing on the corners and the bottom to have been broken a bit but there was no apparent damage to the kegerator and, after all, that is the important part.
Assembly took about 40 minutes and there were instructions (in english) enclosed which listed the parts and how they were to be assembled so the assembly went well and without any hitches. When installing the wheels, I did note that there were numerous other screws on the bottom the cooler that were very loose and required re-tightening and a couple were put in crooked to begin with which made them a bit harder to really tighten down so be sure when assembling, plan on checking all other screws you see even if not directly related to the assembly itself.
The CO2 and the tap lines are all overly generous with respects to the length to whit I'll most likely be trimming them back once the unit is in full use so there's not an excessive amount of excess lines to mess with. While there is a bracket which can be attached to the back of the cooler to hold the CO2 canister I opted to use the small shelf in the interior to set the CO2 canister on, thus allowing me to get the cooler as close as possible to the wall and not stick out too far.
Once assembled, even with the CO2 canister inside, I was able to fit two standard 1/4 barrel slim kegs inside and the door still closed easily and completely. Using at least one 1/6 barrel slim instead of one of the 1/4's then allows enough room to place an additional six-pack or 3 (if stacked) or a bottle or two of some other beverage.
Overall, this seems like a nice enough unit. It's running quietly and keeping the beer nice and cold. My primary reason for scoring it 4 out of 5 stars is primarily due to the 'plastic-y quality' that it has. The drip tray and top grate are plastic as is the top of the cooler. Even after tightening the tower screws as much as I dare, you can still move the top of the tower back and forth about a half inch or so. You dare not even consider putting any sort of heavy weighted items on the top - especially near the front as you can easily press down on the front center of the top and see the plastic top sag under the weight. So, just keep in mind that this is a residential unit and not really meant for any sort of commercial or heavy use. The old unit I replaced was sturdy enough to where I had no second thoughts of jumping on top to reach the ceiling if I needed to but this unit I wouldn't even consider doing that with. I paid $419 for mine (supposedly on sale from $549). The $419 I would pay, but at $549 I would consider it to be overpriced for the quality of the unit.

I am replacing a single tap micromatic kegerator. This was a great price and was delivered faster than promised. Packaging was good and after reading some of the reviews, I made sure there were no scratches or dings and there were none. The unit is nice looking and looks like great quality. Assembly was easy and all parts were there. Instructions we not the greatest, but I was able to get it done. I had to exchange my CO2 tank for a full one (cost only $15.00) at the local welding supply store. Sad to see my shiny new tank go, but I mounted the tank inside the fridge, so no one sees it. I added a second gauge from Amazon ($12.00) to the regulator that monitors the tanks pressure. I do not want to run out of gas on a Friday night and this was much cheaper than buying a second CO2 tank. So far I am getting a little foam when I pour the first beer off each line, so I am planning on getting longer lines for the taps. From everything I have read online, a tower cooler and longer beer lines are the only way to reduce this common issue. Two 5 gallon slim kegs fit with plenty of room to spare.

It was damaged when it arrived (plastic around the frame). Customer service desk at Best Buy was no help. I worked out a deal with the appliance section to keep the Kegerator. The CO2 tank was low quality but the didn't matter because I swapped it out at a welding supply place for another one full of CO2 for less than 24 bucks. Putting it together was easy, it rolls in place nicely and I would recommend keeping the CO2 inside the Kegerator not putting it outside although that is doable with this model. Duel tabs are key, it fits 2 1/6 kegs with plenty of room. Kegs are easy to install and replace. Beer is cold and I have the pressure around 6-8 psi to reduce any foam. I have the temp down to 2 and it is nice a quiet in fact I don't even hear it.

I have only had it for a few days but set up was easy and package was complete with everything except beer and Co2. I was a little worried about a few reviews regarding noise but my unit is very quite, thus far.
I'm glad I bought this through Best Buy as the first one was damaged so returning it to the store was easy and painless. I would recommend this course of purchase.
So far, we are very happy with this product.

Was a little nervous purchasing for my husband’s Christmas gift, as I knew very little about kegerators. After reading the reviews and researching online, I found this to be the best price, dual tap, and rated the highest - even compared to those cost considerably more.
My husband and I are both very pleased with the purchase, and love having two different beers on tap. We have a sixth and slim quarter right now, and it fits perfectly.

I ordered this kegerator for my home brewing hobby and I am very pleased with its performance so far. I've had it for about 3 months now and it does an excellent job maintaining a cold temperature for the 2 kegs I keep in it. It runs relatively quiet and the assembly is super easy. Highly recommended!

I make my own beer and this is perfect for two 5 gallon cornelius kegs. The fittings are for sankey kegs and I have ball lock kegs, so I just cut the sankey attachments off at the tube and converted to ball lock for about $16. Easy assembly and perfect temperature. I am very pleased.

Keeps temp well. The dual tap is nice for me becoause I brew my own beer. I can have one from a micro brew and one of my own. Holds 2 6th barrels perfectly. Only downside is I had to replace the lines with longer ones to keep the head down.

Pretty Good For A Home Unit

It really should have been made 2 inches taller so all basic kegs could fit easily. It also has an irregular shaped interior that really should be about 2 inches deeper to solve some minor problems. The cost of this would have been very little and it could have been a 5 star rating otherwise. It does keep very cold inside, runs very quietly and uses very little energy. The yellow energy tag says $37 annually (if that can be believed). All in all it is a pretty nice unit for the money if used only in a home environment.

We've been pretty pleased with our 2-tap Kegerator. My husband is a hard cider drinker and I like beer, so 2-taps allows us to both have our favorite beverages ready to dispense. We found it relatively easy to assemble the hardware. It comes with an optional set of casters for the bottom, so you can wheel it around. The hoses and taps all look to be of good quality. It's nice that they provide a away to mount the CO2 tank on the outside as well as the inside of the fridge. The temp setting is a bit fussy to set and you'll need to provide your own thermometer. But once you figure out where to set the dial, it stays pretty close to that temp. TIP:// Have it shipped to the store for pick-up. It gets palletized for shipping. If shipped to your door, it does not and will likely show up damaged. Our friends had theirs shipped to their house and both times, it arrived with major shipping damage.

I'm purchased this kegerator to replace an older model which finally went kaput and one with which a new compressor alone would have run as much as this new unit. This new Kegerator was delivered in soundly (no damage) even though there were a few rips and holes in the exterior box. I was able to assemble the kegerator in about 45 minutes without running into any issues. I did notice that some of the screws in the bottom of the unit were really loose so I would suggest to everyone to not only assemble what you're supposed to but to check all other fasteners as well for proper assembly. In the unit I received, once assembled, I was able to fit 2 standard 1/4 skinny kegs. Putting in 1, 1/4 and 1, 1/6th keg even left enough room for a stack of 6-packs to keep cool at the same time. The unit is nice enough overall and a good value for the price paid ($419) which was the sale price. At the full price, I would not have purchased it. Quality wise, let's just say, it's not a commercial grade unit. My older unit was and I have stood on it many times to get something off an upper shelf. With this unit I wouldn't dare try. The top surface is plastic and has a good amount of give to it with even a slight amount of weight placed on it. The tower, fastening to this plastic top also has a bit of give and when pulling on a tap handle pulls the tower forward a bit as well. So... if buying this unit, I believe you'll be pleased with it as long as you understand that you're getting a residential quality unit and you'll need to be 'nice' (gentle) with it.
