I have had to replace the same cable 3 times over the past couple of years. It’s the cheapest in price though if you don’t opt to get a higher quality one. The cable end metal housings break off too easily on these. They work, just cheaply made.

I totally know how this could turn out inconvenient for you. However, I must mention that by design, HDMI connectors are pretty sturdy. My suggestion is to make sure that the connector is plugged correctly and unplugged straight every time, as pulling the cable at an angle could result on damage on the cable, but more importantly your devices. The store was out of the length size that I wanted, so they gave me the next larger length in size for the same price as the shorter length one was. Kudos to Best Buy on customer service!

This is no different. It connects things, and does so without any problems. I'm using it for a system without access to BD or high-end audio, so that capability has yet to be tested. Otherwise, it performs as it should.

These cables may be ok for some tasks but I needed to get thicker cables that would bend so much. I started having issues with these about three months after buying them.
