I was able to connect the cord from the computer to the television. I only wish I had bought a longer cord. Eight feet sounds longer then it is.

Felt kind of silly having spent so much, hoping the price is because of higher quality product. We will see over time. The picture quality and speed are fine.

But after looking at the LG - 55" Class (54.6" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV, I decided to buy it. For $20 more I got a bigger & better smart tv. Set up was simple. I recommend this tv .
