We have the Wireless Genie client that I had to mount up high in the window as we have metal siding and interior walls. Although the signal is "weak" due to distance, the 25 foot cable was essential to get to the TV. Bottom line, works great. You don't need to spend the extra bucks for stuff that won't make a difference.
