Don't pay more for HDMI cables

HDMI signals are not affected by interference the same way that analog signals are. Unless you're running a 4K signal, all HDMI cables will work the same (and even for 4K all HDMI 2.0 compliant cables will work the same).

The performance is totally unreliable. The signal drops a lot, resulting in a black screen that lasts a few seconds each time. Absolutely infuriating. I think I'll go find a fiber optic cable instead.

After searching the Best Buy online website, I found one for half the price but it wasn't available at the local store. Out of ease, I paid the extra money and purchased what was available. The cord works as it should.

Such is the electronics market! It's perfectly fine. Gets the job done and I can project photos from my PC to the TV, and stream as well. And for the low, low price of 4 months streaming subscription! (Not Best Buy's fault, by the way.)
