It works perfectly and the quality is no worse than some of the pricier cables out there. Everything is digital now so you don't need expensive high end cables at this length. Remember, these wires (and all other HDMI) don't carry audio and video, just 1s and 0s. Why pay more for a short run of cable? Now if you're running over 20' then you'd needs would be different.

For non-commercial uses, this is all you need. The cable is a bit stiff, but if you don't need to move your gear around, it's not a problem.
