It would only operate for about 15 minutes then the "Clean Filter" light would come on. I received a replacement, but I don't think its a "Brand" new dryer. It arrived with black scratches on the side and no protective film over the instrument panel. After being on hold for an HOUR AND 14 MINUTES (and still didn't speak to a representatives.) I called the next day and spoke with an associate, and he assigned me a case number and told me I have 30 replacement warranty and 1 year Best Buy product warranty.

When I checked the app it said it wouldn’t be ready until Jan 28th. 25 days later than what I was told.

The dryer took twice as long to dry as my old model. I love the features on the dryer and the quality of the product compared to GE or Whirlpool, but the drying time makes it useless. An average load took 40 min to dry on my old dryer. At 80 min some clothes were still wet in the Insignia. Several times when manually setting the time to add 10 min, the countdown clock would not start and no heat came on. The dryer would start heating. I could feel hot air at the exhaust duct. When the dryer cycled heat on and off, the air became cooler and never got as hot as initially. My guess is that there is something wrong with the over temp sensor since the drum would turn for a long time with no heat. Or the internal blower doesn't push thru enough air to keep the unit from overheating. I have no way of changing the ducting in my house and adding a ductless vent can be deadly with gas dryers. But trying to get an answer from anyone at BB was impossible. I have called Best Buy, geek squad, insignia repair 800-433-5778, 577 467 4289 , 888 237 8289, 800 304 1259 and have more than 5 hours getting the run around from people who don't understand how dryers work. The only person who would know is the technician who fixes them and I was never able to talk to one. I have cleaned out the exhaust ducting. Very little lint was found. I ran an industrial blower from the entry point where the gas dryer connects to the ducting to make sure plenty of air flow. I have bought other insignia products and always found them to be good buys and worked well. I just wish someone from BB could have actually helped me.

If this continues may return. Wish I had read ALL of the reviews. Also purchased the matching washer and currently waiting for a new one to be delivered (7/11) because of a leaking issue. If continues returning both.
