So we bought this dryer to replace our older Whirlpool model that stopped working. I looked at several different brands and settled on this Insignia model. I have heard mixed reviews about Insignia, but....We are truly pleased with this dryer. The capacity is 6.7cu very large and can dry towels and blankets with no issues. It actually has a setting for towels. The unit might not be the quiets but it is quiet and it does a good job drying clothes, towels, and blankets. The connection was simple and its smaller width/size makes it easy to place. We are now considering purchasing the washer too. We have a front-load Samsung and it is on its last leg. I would overall say that this dryer is a very good buy at this price point. It has a premium look and great features. We do hope it is here for the long haul.

I brought this when my old dryer passed unexpectedly, so this dryer was the Best find ever. Best Buy brands don't disappoint. It was an urgent unexpected purchase. I planned to switch from gas to electric - but not that day, so I was torn about buying another gas dryer but it was open-box so very affordable. Happy to say my gas bill is lower - much lower. The dryer was easy to install, is simple to use, and is efficient. And, cherry on top, it matched the Insignia washer I bought last year. Basic but gets the job done.

I bought this gas dryer on clearance; Only 3 small gripes; I'm used to having a drum light so I miss that from my electric dryer. I also like to put items on top of the dryer but the top is dome shaped, not flat, so items might fall off esp while it is running. I love the large lint screen that seems to filter well. I don't like the fact it doesn't have an alert sound when clothes are dry. It does have a status LED light bar though that informs what part of the cycle it is in. I like the digital countdown so you can kinda expect when the load will be dry after it settles in during cycle. Great value and would buy again (at clearance price).
