They cancel noise! Really!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these after having someone behind me on a 3 hour flight not take a breath while talking for the entire trip. These things really do work! The Audio is not "reference quality" for music, but they are very good, just know they're not great if all you care about is fidelity. The noise canceling is eerie! You can hear some noises on a plane or certain frequencies like a direct close voice or sharp noise, but it blocks the vast majority of sound. That said my 5 hour flight was blissful! I tested them in a hotel room next to a noisy hotel wall a/c.....couldn't hear it running. The only other negative is the battery pack is a bit awkward, as it is a thin rectangle that dangles right by the jack on my phone. I recommend them if noise canceling is a need.
