I needed something a bit longer than the standard 6' cable, and I wanted to step up to CAT 6 and gold plating for higher quality. This cable has not disappointed! The communications issues I use to have once in a while have now gone away.

The only item I cannot comment about is the longevity of these cables as I've only had them for about 2 months.

Well built and durable for indoor use. I do wish the shielding was a little thicker. Overall it’s great to take care of home use projects.

A new laptop was ordered to replace it. Top keep access to the Inet which is important, I decided to purchase a Cat 6 Ethernet cable in the interim to connect my handicapped laptop to the router. I only needed 100 ft. but there was no stock so I purchased the 150 ft. length. The extra 50 ft. +- was arranged in a large coil at the router end and everything seems to be working ok.

I play multiplayer games and when I ran an internet test it showed my upload and download speeds were faster than when I was using wifi.

But, it was not getting the speeds we were paying for. When I connected this cable directly from the router to my computer it corrected the speed issues. I recommend it.
