After calling my provider I found the old cables were the problem. These are the as by duty cables and work better than expected.

I needed a long cable to reach from where my modem is to my xbox in another room. It works great if your looking to hardwire any device with an Ethernet cable.

This one isn’t bad. If this is the type and size you need, go ahead and get it. I don’t know tech stuff so if you do and are reading reviews looking for actual info on a cable, you probably already know enough to make an informed decision. Happy cabling.
