    This cable was just the right length for the cable to reach my device and the modem box. Most furniture is taller than back in the day and short cables need to be forgotten.

    While a cat 6 cable isn't necessary unless you have a gigabit internet connection, if its only a few more $ than a cat 5e cable you might as well go for the faster cable for future use. Works just as well as any other cat 6 cable.

    I got this cable to eventually connect my upstairs computers to my downstairs router due to wifi interference from neighboring devices. It works great and gets the full internet speed I pay for. I am very happy with this cord.
