    I bought this cable because the cat 6 was recommended for faster/better internet speeds than my existing cat 5 cable. And in regards to Xbox gaming, I believe it helped achieve better performance for online gaming.

    The Insignia is the best buy brand. It must still meet the standards set for Cat-6 Network cables. Buy some other name brand and you pay at least 50% more. I have used these cables and they have worked flawlessly. Why pay more?

    Needed to extend ethernet connection from my Dock to the in-wall wired connection. The added length kept me from tripping over the cord when moving between my desk and my filing cabinet.

    It's good for the reason purchased, might replaced with ethernet homeplug to eliminate cable running around the house.

    Pretty Tight. Makes internet happen. Good stuff. Would purchase again if a computer that was several feet away from my router needed internet access.

    Perfect for gaming.....I have 2 separate Xbox’s connected to my router with 2 of these cords in 2 different rooms and both consoles operate very smoothly thanks to these cords

    After 3 1/2 years my old modem died. I replaced it, and while I was at it, I replaced the switch and bought some of these Cat 6 cables as well. WOW! I'm speedtesting downloads almost 30% faster! (I'm on Cox).

    Excellent cable even if you need to work 50 feet away from the modem. Bought it because my computer could not connect via wifi. Very happy with the internet speeds.

    Router was in a different room and i prefered to hardwire by PC or console for certain games. These work great when needing the connection from across several feet

    this cable is excellent if you need wired ultra fast internet but many tens of meters or yards away from your modem.
