My desktop requires a network cable due to it not being wifi enabled. This cable was useful as I was able to run it through the house and not have any issues with it.

I was trying to solve an HDMI over cat5 video signal issue and upon completion of troubleshooting I found that I needed a longer drop cable to eliminate a couple of connections to allow the weak signal to make it to the display. The Best Buy was close and they had a cable long enough to fill the bill. Routed the cable and hooked it up and its been working fine ever since.

It's a Cat-6 cable. It is long. The intention was to hardline from one room to another through the attic. It works as it is supposed to.

Needed a cable quickly for my house in where the router is pretty far from my PC. Works great, but a bit expensive as you can buy online ones for cheaper.

I'm no expert on what can possibly make an Ethernet cable have a better, faster connection, but I do know that Cat-6 is where it's at. Used it to connect Netgear Powerline to my router and computer. Works great.

When wifi goes down this is a must need backup. Makes it easy to work anywhere in the house. For sun, it helps stream videos faster when projecting outdoors.

This was the longest cord I could find to reach my home office from the house till I could arrange to have service set up. This was just as fast as my computer in the house on a two foot cord!

Connected to 10GbE switch and 10 GbE port on my PC. Get essentially the full speed of my SATA based SSD (550 MB per second) from server to PC. With 5e cable I get half that speed.

Upgraded everything in the system including the adapter from cable company coming into house. Not sure which item helped the most but now getting faster speeds.
