    I had just bought a new TV and felt that it was time to upgrade the cables. Ended up buying two one 14 ft. and an 8 ft. the shorter from the modem to router and the longer router to the TV . I did notice an improvement (being quicker , at least to me ) ,so ,to me it was an improvement from what it was.
