BestBuy had the cable at the right length available for pickup. We were able to get the cable and test the device. Though the device did not work, the ease of having BestBuy availability and proximity enabled us to not have to wait overnight for the cable

Excellent Ethernet Cables

The material is stiff and is of good quality. It should last a few years. If you are constantly plugging it into multiple computers daily, I recommend getting a docking station otherwise, you will wear down the plastic spring clip.
