We have a TV mounted above a fireplace. This light strip works well to light up the back of the TV. It plugs easily into the USB on the TV.

Great way to illuminate TV sets or otherwise. Very minimal. Just take note that there is no app nor is it multicolored.

These lights are much better than I expected. There are different colors to choose from and 7 different lighting sections that start from dim all the way to bright.

I just love the Insignia8 f t. Multi-Color LED Tape Light set. I installed them under the shelf in my kitchen and the light the area perfectly.

The pros of this light are that they are bright, the colors are accurate and the remote has a long range. The cons are as follows: 1) if you buy multiple lights, the remote is tuned to the same frequency. So one remote will control all the tape lights and 2) there is no app. If you are willing to work around the cons, and you don't have neighbors who own the same lights, I would recommend. But you can find comparable lights without these annoying design flaws for a similar price point if you can find a good sale.

Works great as backlighting for our TV. Now we can have all the lights off and our movies and shows look even better.
