Insignia™ - 8 ft. Multi-Color LED Tape Light - White

These are nice good quality LED strips, they come in 3 different lengths I have all 3 lengths. They are super bright and the colors look great! Our 16ft have the remote and require its own plug in! These 4 foot and 8 foot versions run off usb power so you can plug them right into an old phone charger, or any usb port you have on your computer, back of tv etc... but they only have a little in line controller built right into the plug where you can change between 7 brightness's and maybe 10 different colors at most! I do like these lights and they are good quality, I have MANY different cheap brands off amazon to compare these too, and these Insignia are always the ones i use to compare brightness etc... but they are extremely over priced for what they are tbh! Thats why i am leaving 3 stars instead of 5. There are many cheaper versions on amazon that are not only just as bright, but longer, and also can be controlled over wifi with alexa, google assistant etc... So these are good lights if you just want something to stick behind your monitor, desk, small tv, tv stand, under cupboards in your kitchen etc.. but just know you wont be controlling them with any smart home devices! I feel like your better off looking on amazon for a much cheaper set that have alot more features! There are great alternatives if you take the time to look and read reviews on there instead of over spending on these lights! Also these lights go on sale ALL the time on Best Buys website so dont ever pay full price! The 16 foot and 4 foot versions go on sale every couple weeks....the 8 foot versions dont seem to go on sale as much but i have been watching these lights for over a year on here and they are ALWAYS on sale ...sometimes the deal of the day as well! In the picture you will see a GREAT cheaper alternative to these that are just as bright but run off smart devices! They literally look identical to these insignia lights when lit up same color same brightness, only they are over 9 ft long compared to the 4 ft. and they cost like 15 bucks! Good luck!

Fantastic bargain for the price. The 16-foot kit almost went completely around the edges of my 85 inch TV. The back-lighting makes it much easier on the eyes for night viewing. The remote makes it super easy to change colors, patterns, and turn it on and off. Super-sticky tape and nothing appears to be coming loose anytime soon. It was a little difficult making 90° turns but it all worked out.

Easy to setup and use. Simple. Good colors. 4ft length easy to work with. Plugs into a USB instead of traditional outlet.

This tape wasn’t the best in terms of adhesion, but I was able to use thumb tacks and a different tape to keep it in place. Once set up, this is super easy to use and looks amazing lining behind my tv, and my dresser. The lights never get hot and the dimmer function is super convenient. I love the many options for colors, and the fading color option makes me want to buy more of these for my living room!

Exactly what I was looking for, but at a fraction of the cost. I was looking for a colored LED strip to complete my dream desk set up. I almost bought a more expensive Wi-Fi LED automation option, but felt that may have been more than what I wanted to pay for mere aesthetics. As I was leaving Best Buy, I found this via their mobile app. It was like 20 bucks vs 80 or so for the other option. Couldn’t pass it up. The length was perfect and the color options are great. I couldn’t be more pleased.
