Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have known this was a poor quality antenna when I went to purchase it and saw two open box buys available. I'm moving to a new house so I was hoping not to have to mount another outdoor antenna. Compared to my outdoor ClearStream antenna, this thing is a piece of junk. After moving this antenna around I was able to get 45% signal strength. That is not very good. I get 72% signal strength with the outdoor antenna. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend MUST BE CONSTANTLY ADJUSTED

This does not pick up local stations that broadcasts less than .25 miles up the hill from me. Will replace when I can find a non-BestBuy purchased, reliable antennae. (I have yet to find ANY reliable, amplified antennas at BestBuy.)
