I was surprised but it works very well. It took me about 15 minutes to find the best location, placement seems to make a difference with regard to performance. I mounted it to the top of the TV and that took some effort. Securing it the best location may take a bit of effort but it performs very well. I live 40 miles South of Boston and I can pick up Boston Stations. I'm very pleased with this antenna. Good work guys!

Nice compact antenna picks up a fair amount of channels. Setting it up was really easy to do. I have mine in the window.

Very easy to hook up and use. Picture comes in beautifully. I will be purchasing 2 more for my home soon.

This one I got on sale. It works best placed as high as possible, taped to a wall, even better if pressed against a window. If you can't get the channels you want, place it on glass and hook up the amplifier. I normally catch 9-10 channels in my area, but can receive 18 with the amplifier. I highly recommend this antenna for anyone within 20 miles of a broadcast antenna.

We recently cut the cord from cable and although we have a smart tv, we wanted to expand our channels as much as possible. Antenna works as advertised and we pick up several more channels with this one than we did with one supplied from tv manufacturer. Has a stand or you can mount to a wall. Would buy again.

Bought two. They both work fine with good reception, they were easy to install and they were inexpensive. Couldn't ask for more.

Easy set up. Works great! Reception is excellent. Minimal interruptions in a remote location. Made to fit seamlessly with decor.

I live about 10 miles from most of the metropolitan area signals (Jax, FL has an area called "Tiger Hill." Unfortunately it doesn't accept the local PBS station, which is closer, and makes me wary. So far, consistent. Deal of the day discount makes it a good buy -- there are better options at full price (hence 4 stars).

The ad for this states it picks up signals up to 50 miles but we have so many channels it has picked up signals MORE than 50 miles away. We liked it so much on the Smart TV as we went away from cable to digital only TV that we bought a 2nd for the other TV. This antenna has made the transition to digital only TV very easy, picking up many channels we thought we wouldn't be able to get. One antenna is upstairs and the 2nd is downstairs. We have tried it on an outside wall, inside wall, and in a window and it works great in all these locations.

Easy to install. Receive clear picture, good sound, local stations and some stations thought previously only available with cable.

Very easy to setup and use. Picks up around 30 channels at my house. Cuttig the Cord. Going from 140/month to around 20/ month.

Works great. I get more channels and all of them come in clearer now. I like the unobtrusive design. I put mine above a Picture on a wall.

The Insignia Thin Film antenna has good reception for local tv channels. The antenna is supplied with a 10 ft cord that is adequate. A longer cord (possibly 20 ft) would allow for better positioning of the antenna. Overall, I am very satisfied with the antenna for local tv channel reception.

Simple solution to getting over the air channels. Easy to setup and use. Takes up very little room. Functions well after the channel scan.

Easy to hook up. I’m not tech savvy and was able to install this myself. I now get 76 channels for free. Money well spent!

I purchased 2 of these for a friend's house. I installed them strictly according to the instructions. I was able to get about 15 channels at least partially, but only about 5 clearly. I moved the antennae around the rooms to get the best reception possible, but still could only get 5 clearly. It seems that locally (Orlando, FL area), the Spanish stations come in quite clearly. Unfortunately, that does me little good. Of the 5 clear ones, 3 were all Spanish language. I think I need to purchase an outside one. I think this one does well under the best of circumstances. I installed these inside of a house, near the window on one, inside the home for the other, near the ceiling. I think these would be a good deal for the price, with a high enough placement at a window facing the right direction, but for my friends, it didn't meet expectations. I could recommend it, but only depending upon the circumstances.

I tried all different antennas and this worked the best. Even the more expensive higher rated ones didn’t get as many channels as this one.

I bought this on clearance just to see if this would pick up any channels at my house. All others I tried had failed. This one did pickup 10 channels on the top floor of my home... but still pixelated at times. I don't blame the product, at least it picked up something.
