Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.skeptical at first figuring i would have to return it because the nearest station is 42 miles away but decided to try it just the same and glad i did. the antenna is directional and i found a spot on the curtain rod above my north window to hold the antenna to get 46 channels out of 51, the ones i don't get are shopping channels on the high end of the uhf spectrum. the pre-amp works well.

It Does The Job

I only need it for local channels and it works great. The picture is clear and steady. I love the slim profile that doesn't take up a lot of space on the table. It is so much better than the old rabbit ears we had been using.

Great little antenna

I had tried another antenna that was not amplified and it did not pick up anything at all. This one exceeded my expectations by allowing access to about twenty stations, It was a snap to connect and my tv was able to add the channels without any trouble. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to cut the cord.

Pleasantly Surprised

I let cable/satellite go because of the price. I really just wanted to get local channels. I would have been happy with my basic channels - ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC. Surprisingly, it picks up more than 70 channels clearly, not including the shopping networks. Easy to set-up.

Just what I needed.

I skipped the adhesive and put it on the wall with push pins so I could move it around. I'll get some less obvious fasteners now that I've found the right place for it. It isn't attractive but I'm thinking about framing it and adding a picture in front of it.

Especially if you live for then 15 miles from an over the air tv tower. We could not pick a consistent single on any of our tvs in different spots our of house. When we would get a faint signal, it would consistently drop on and off for different amounts of time. We live in an area where there are 3 different towers, and 3 different directions from our house. We ended up exchanging it for a completely different model and that one works.
