Ended up installing an out door antenna to get a good signal. If you really want great signal their is no replacement for a real outdoor antenna the signal from this Insignia™ - Amplified Thin Film Indoor HDTV Antenna will get you by but dont expect alot from it.

I am working on my house and have the tv in the basement, so it would work better above ground. When I get the living room back together I plan on getting an outdoor antenna and using the existing Direct tv mount on roof and cables and a booster. but for now it is not bad and no monthly bill !

This antenna only received 3 channels on clear, sunny days. Easy to hook up but wanting more channels.
