I live in Oklahoma, after all. Well, this is how you do both. It'll pick up any and all signals within the antenna's radius, even channels you never knew were there. Comes in handy if you think you might have a tornado bearing down on your place while you're digital streaming. Not only that, this thing's a lot easier to deal with than the old "rabbit ears" from back in the day.

Don't love that I can't seem to block useless stations or that I can't make it jump to channels with decimals...other than that it's okay for my purposes.

You can block certain stations directly from your TV, since the antenna just picks up the channels and the channel management is something you need to check on the TV. All the ones I've bought are the same. I bought this one and it's like the others but it did give me a couple of other channels. Depends on where you can find reception. So I guess I'll stick with this one.
