Customers are saying

Customers admire the Amplified Thin Film Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception, ease of use, and picture quality. Many appreciate its ability to pick up a large number of channels and its simple installation. While some users experienced weaker signals depending on their location and building materials, the antenna's compact size and affordability were frequently praised. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of setup outweighs the concerns about signal strength in certain situations.

We don’t receive as many channels as I’d like, but that could be due to our set up. We move it around sometimes. I do appreciate the slim and bi-colored design.

    Cut The Cable Cord

The Insignia Antenna will be a huge start in cutting the cord! If you are within 55 miles range to towers, your local stations will shine. Placement is easy to find the sweet spot for all available local stations.

I used this one to replace another indoor antenna that would not pick up several local stations. I went from 15 to 26 channels picked up. Much improved, even during bad weather. I just have it sitting on the stand next to my TV. It is not even in the window or high up on the wall. I'm very happy. And it was in sale!!

I only use flat antennas and streaming applications, this works great for some channels but I'm a little too far to get one of the majors

Make sure when selecting an antenna, that you check the radius for the signal. This one has a 50 mile radius, so it's perfect for the location signal in the DFW area. Additionally, it has a two-sided color option - black or white. Perfect. No complaints here!

I have this behind my TV, pointed at a bay window on a 4th floor apartment 10 miles south of downtown Denver. The window faces east and the antenna is pointed north. I get ALL the channels (100s?) in full HD. With apps on the TV, no more cable!!

Antenna cord needs to be longer

The cord from antenna to TV needs to be longer especially if a window is not close to the TV. I've also found TV signal is affected by passing aircraft. And, on some days the TV signal comes in for a channel but on other days the Message comes up "Signal strength too low." Placement of the antenna also does make a difference for TV signal strength but short cord makes optimum antenna placement problematic.

After moving the antenna around a few times, I've been able to get all but one of the local channels in the area. I'll continue to try other locations on my wall to see if I can get them all but this is by far the best indoor antenna out of three I've owned.

We purchased this to go with a smaller TV in a guest room and it does a good job in pulling in the local over-air stations, even without the amplifier attached.

One of the easiest setup plug coax and on tv start channel scan. If withing coty range you get all local channels in hd quality. Amplifier helps boost the signal.

Not quite what I had expected initially, however I am sure with a few adjustments the signal should improve nevertheless.

    Some Improvement of signal Receiving

There is some improvement of signal receiving. Don't know whether it can receive signals from a station 50-mile away as an indoor antenna.

Got this for my shore house because we refuse to pay $100 a month for cable. This enables us to watch the news and weather and the basics. Good deal for the money.
