Customers are saying

Customers admire the Amplified Thin Film Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception, ease of use, and picture quality. Many appreciate its ability to pick up a large number of channels and its simple installation. While some users experienced weaker signals depending on their location and building materials, the antenna's compact size and affordability were frequently praised. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of setup outweighs the concerns about signal strength in certain situations.

Got this to replace cable on one back-up TV. The only way I can get it to work is to stick it in my window. I don't know enough about these but was under the impression that if it was only a couple of feet from a window I would be OK. Still, even in the window, gets limited number of channels (12-14 depending on the scan).

I originally purchased the HDTV Antenna for the living room television. It didn't pick up the local channels until I put it in the bedroom. I really like the HDTV !!!!!!

Had to keep it close to the window. And make sure to connect the amplifier without it. The reception and the amount of channels you receive will not be good

Works ok. I use it in the bedroom. I don't get too many stations but I don't think it's the antennas fault. I think I'm in a bad location for reception.

I think how well this works may depend on how close you are to the TV towers .. fortunately, I'm close - and you can check your address and likely signal strength on any number of sites ... This was a great solution for the local channels - for $30 definitely worth it.

Not very sturdy but, works well with assisted amplified power capability. We put it on top of the TV cabinet. Purchased it on a sale.

It’s ok. Cord isn’t long enough to reach to a near by window, so I can’t really tell how good it is.

I get about 30 channels and I originally had it next to my tv but when I placed it up higher on a wall I got better signal and received more channels!

Didn't expect much since I live in a rural area in a 30 year old mfg home; allows local network reception

I live in an area with poor reception and I got this antenna to get local channels not available via streaming. My only regret is that I didn't get something with better strength and range. My advice is to get the best antenna you can afford because this one doesn't hold the signal well at times and some stations don't show up at all when you do the auto-search. It does work for some, but not all local stations.

It works well, though not terribly powerful, as weak signals require fine adjustments of its placement to receive.

I didn't expect a miracle when I purchased this antenna. I knew that there would be signal issues beforehand, and that's exactly what I experience now. Although these new antenna designs are an upgrade from the 'bunny ears' I grew up with, they still require you to move them around in order to find adequate signal. Overall, this antenna gets the job done--plus the price was decent.

Great TV antenna for free over the air channels. can use included stand or mount without on window or wall. Amplifier is ok if needed for longer distance stations if live in rural area but not normally needed for local channels if live in metro area.

I bought a new tv and my old antenna was by a window so I thought I would give it a try to see if I could get reception if I just placed it behind the tv. Amazingly, this antenna picks up a better signal than my one placed by the window
