I thought this might work with Linux Mint. Many Windows items work out of the box, this one does not seem too. Otherwise it's a great item, does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'll continue to take her, if I can get it to work with Linux Mint I will do an update.

I'm not sure if people aren't following the instructions (and why would you use it more than 5 ft away?? , but it worked great for me! Just open the folded paper, copy the URL, and download the compressed folder off the website. Extract the folder, and double-click on the executable, then restart the PC whenever it's finished the install. It's really not hard at all! It did exactly what I needed it to and now I can access the Bluetooth settings on my PC (when I couldn't locate it before for whatever the reason). I'm running a custom rig with Windows 10 Professional, so yes, it is compatible with Windows 10 and the Bluetooth setting will show up in the mini tab close to the bottom right corner of the screen.

I have a wireless harman/kardon headphones that I wanted to use so I can listen to music and/or watch YouTube videos on my new PC, so I bought this Insignia Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter and it works like magic! I don't hear any stuttering or choppy sounds at all.

There was nothing wrong with this product , it was just not the correct purchase for my situation. Had it been, I would have definitely kept it . Product is well made, it just did not gave syncing capabilities to me desk top.

Nothing particularly special about it. It dord exactly what you neef it to and its inexpensive.

great product. needed it for my desktop to be able to use my airpods. set-up was slow at first but when I reached out to Insignia for help, they gave a step-by-step directions to get it set-up and it worked out perfectly

It worked fine with one device but I could not get two devices to work. I normally use it with one device anyway.

Has limited range but works fine. Probably not worth the price though

This product well with older computer that do not have Bluetooth capability.

This is exactly what we were looking for to some of our machines wireless that is hooked up to our computer. We tried a couple other places and glad we waited till we hit up best buy. Not only are we impressed but the price was better than all the other places locally we checked.

Had to replace and older version, Windows 10 accessed this one and it went right to work. Range seems to be good.

Does not properly work. Comes with instructions that simply say "plug and play, it'll download the drivers and you'll be good to go" (paraphrasing obviously) however when you plug it in, there are no drivers found. A work around can be found on the internet but you have to be lucky and pick the right one and even then it's spotty AT BEST. Drops bluetooth signal randomly when a driver can be gotten to work with it at all (and for me that was like the 20th attempt, honestly not trying to exaggerate that number, I went through every possible driver it could be, I swear) Obviously not something that was kept up on when it became a "best buy brand". Think I'll order the Asus and if that works, I'll return this because it does NOT work correctly

I bought this item hoping to add bluetooth my my sons gaming pc. Unfortunately he wasn't able to use the bluetooth because there were no drivers to download, therefore leaving him with a useless little usb adapter. He was confused and irritated so about a week later he bought the ASUS bluetooth adapter to see if that one worked and it did! Asus does it right, they actually put a link to where you can download the drivers! He is happy with that purchase, but not happy with the purchase of the insignia one.

Does the job. Just plug it in and let the system do what it needs to.

The driver is very difficult to download. It took several hours to find it on the internet. This seems to be an outdated device. Once I downloaded it, so far it is working. The process was very tedious.

Highly recommend this adapter. Very convenient for multi-tasking on several devices. All within easy reach.

This thing is amazing! It sends little blue signals through the air and let’s my kids play their games on pc with an xbox controller. Wireless mouse? Yep. Wireless keyboard? You betcha! Tons of lag in FPS games? Absolutely!

I had purchased one and was satisfied...this one was for a friend whom I thought would benefit as well as I did...

It works great for the money. Didn't work from my computer to my boss I pod dock. But other than that works great.

The adapter was inexpensive but it doesn’t have much range.
