It will recognize devices but cannot install the correct drivers in order to communicate with them properly. It has a broadcom chip but broadcom no longer offers driver downloads to support it. I'm using Windows 7. I've tried downloading every imaginable bluetooth driver under the sun but I continue to have problem. Basically spent a whole day troubleshooting this problem. Avoid. It's useless piece of plastic.

Upgraded to Windows 10 and the problem resolved so didn’t need it.
