Couldn't get the software package to install properly on my laptop with Windows 10 initially but was able to get the issue figured out. Paired my Bose Mini Soundlink perfectly afterward.

I got this as the built-in Bluetooth on Motherboard quit working. I had tried other brands and this one worked great.

It is a good product but it lacks software required to use it. And if you go to the website for support they make you download drivers that do nothing for it. Proceed with caution.

Easy enough to install, works great! Can now play music from my laptop on bluetooth speakers.

I thought this adapter would be a speed upgrade from my old adapter. No such luck...but it is smaller and works fine. If you don't have an adapter, buy it. But don't purchase as a speed replacement for a bluetooth 2.0 adapter.

this was a pain in my...! plugged it in and could not find drivers, automatically or manually. Went to find the problem and it says the product is discontinued... haven't been able to use it since i purchased it a while back and am too far to drive for what this is worth. would have been nice to know that this product couldnt be updated anymore. Why would this still be sold in store? I couldnt tell you.

All good so far. Was a nice cheap easy fix to constant cord problems. Now I’m wireless.

This USB adapter would not keep a signal. A pain in the rear trying to get and keep a device connected

Good little dongle for your bluetooth needs. Just make sure you get the correct version. 4.0.

I purchase the device to use on a laptop I converted for multimedia use. Provides a good connection, no lag, and just plain works.

I love this Product, my PC is very old and didn't come with Bluetooth capacity, now it does :-)

Thought I'd try this to get my old computer to sync with my fitbit. It didn't work, however, it was worth a try. Best Buy took it back - no questions asked.

Computer wouldnt enable bluetooth automatically had to manually find the drivers to get it to work. It works but it could be better.

This adapter was just what I needed to connect wirelessly to my printer. I am pleased with its performance.

Bought this on sale for my son who wanted to use Xbox wireless controller with Windows 10 PC. Was plug and play as expected and he was using it right away.

When I first plugged the adapter into my Windows 7 laptop, it did not automatically install the drivers. From the "Devices and Printers" window, it showed up as an "Unspecified" device, BCM20702A0. From there, I was able to right-click and "Troubleshoot" the device to get a driver installed, but that did not help. With the driver installed, I was able to see several Bluetooth devices. I tried connecting with my Bluetooth mouse and my Bluetooth headphones, both of which I've used successfully with other laptops. From the laptop, both devices appeared to connect, but the headphones did not indicate that they were paired, and neither device functioned. The first one of these Bluetooth adapters I purchased was an "open box" special. (That should have been a clue.) The second was a brand new unopened unit. Both exhibited the same problem. Checking the Insignia website for support was no help. I love the plug and play aspect of this adapter, Took only 1 few minutes to install and connect our headphones. Perfect!!

my computer didn't have a bluetooth capability and this adapter works great for a very reasonable price.

Bought this for my son's older computer. Works great and no signal loss, even when the device he is using is across the room.
