Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The product turned out to be defected, i returned the usb to the store and an employee tried to make the excuse that the reason for the dongle not working was because it was blue tooth version 5. Took me several minuts to talk to employees and a manager to convince them that the return was fair. Turns out the dongle was a refurbished item and who ever tested the item probably just stick it into a pc to check for the dongle connection to the pc and not check for a signal wasted my time and gas. Point is if you buy referbished items be aware the saving some times ends up costing you more.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This did not auto install as it said it should, I had to contact support which was not even remotely prompt (shy of 48 hours). I finally got the generic driver installed and for a day only one ear of my headphones would play. Next day it worked fine, so I didn't worry about it. Then about 1.5 weeks go by just fine and suddenly everything I playing sounds like a scratched cd, reinstalled the driver, worked ok a few more days. Now it won't work at all, I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and my computer can't even see that it is plugged in. I've had it for barely 30 days and find out the return policy is only 2 weeks. I've had better luck with dongles for half the price on Amazon, just tried to get away from buying everything on Amazon, thought hey, insignia is a pretty reliable brand, but sadly this thing is garbage. :(

This Bluetooth adapter was the critical piece that allowed her laptop to receive information from the wand & pens. She is very happy with it &, therefore, so am I.
