If you unplug this from your computer, it will blue screen. It was frusterating to have to have to reconnect my blutooth device everytime I took my computer out of sleep mode. It was a hassle. But the random bluscreening was just flat out weird. The range with the device was good if listening to music on a blutooth headset, but.. other than that, this was a bad buy.

Once I got the drivers installed, I rebooted, and attempted to connect my bluetooth PC speakers to the dongle. I was able to connect for all of about 30 seconds until I lost connectivity. My speakers are about 2 feet away from the port in which I had the adapter installed. I even tried something less demanding like an xbox controller, same result. Most insignia products I have work, but this thing flopped hard.

So much latency it was unplayable. Get a Bluetooth card instead... if you just want to listen to music on your laptop this thing is fine.

So first of all my windows computer needed a driver for it but it couldn’t find one online so you have to find it. (BTW, it’s very complicated)

Everything that could go bad did!! It also installed a program into my computer that I have no idea what it is…..was…..but it caused lots of problems. HP couldn’t help me and the product manufacturer escapes me at the moment but well known for after market computer accessories, they couldn’t help either. I had to reboot the whole thing and take it back to a restore point that was no where near current, so I lost a bunch of stuff too.

Needed it for my older computer that doesn't have Bluetooth built in. So far it is working as advertised with the exception being was that the blue light in the unit went out after a month of usage.

It is nice for on the go Bluetooth connection, but quality wise, the sound is super distorted. Would recommend buying a more high quality Bluetooth adapter.
