I don’t know, but 2 different computers and this thing would not connect to anything! Headphones speakers (3 different sets) phone nothing! I’m not sure if the settings on the computer were the issue and this thing didn’t jive or what but it didn’t work at all for me.

The purchase of the Insignia adapter solved that problem for me. The USB adapter slips into my computer's USB port and I am good to go! The adapter fits close with an acceptable extension. The price was right.

However, you must download a driver from the product website in order for it to work and there are currently no drivers available for Windows 7. We contacted tech support about this issue, and they responded in an email that they could not tell me when the driver for Windows 7 would be back up on the website. Therefore the product is useless to us. NOTE: There are drivers for Win XP, 8 and 10 available on the website as of yesterday.

Driver problems, not worth the trouble

Of all the bluetooth dongles I have used, only this one has given me so much trouble getting the correct drivers installed. For the record, I am on Windows 10. After troubleshooting for an hour or two, I switched to a TP-link bluetooth adapter. In case it helps anyone, you want the driver for the device BCM20702A0.

They would not work, I brought them back after she rec'd them and we realized they would not work. I was told we were a few days too late to bring them back. What good is this if they were a gift. If you check our history you will see that we spend a few thousand dollars there every year. Well NO MORE. I asked for district managers name and was told I could not have it. I sent in my feedback, and did not even receive an apology.
