Does NOT work on Windows 10

Even though it is printed on the package, every person who purchases this for Windows 10 RETURNS IT. The system will not recognize it and even Insigna says it does not work. This adapter should be removed from Best Buy. I wasted TWO TRIPS to stores: one to purchase, one to get a refund.

Posted .Hello Doug, thank you for taking the time to leave a quick review of the Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter. I am sorry to read that you are having issues with your adapter, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
If the computer doesn't install the driver automatically, try this:
1: Go to Device Manager (this can be done by left clicking on most start buttons. including 7/8.1/10)
2: Plug in USB Bluetooth Device
3: Check Device Manager and look for your Bluetooth device, which should come up as BCM20XXXXX (BCM20702A0) (the X's will be different depending on your exact model but it is not important, what is important, is that you find the proper device. The device should pop up as soon as you plug it in and you will see display manager flicker and it will repopulate its listing. you will probably see a yellow mark on the icon telling you something is wrong, which is correct. )
4: Right Click on the BCM20702A0 in device manager and click on "update driver software"
5: Select Browse my computer for updates,
6: Select "Let me pick from a list of Device Drivers"
7: Select Bluetooth Radius
8: Select "Broadcom" on the left list of manufactures.
9: Select "BCM2033 Single" Driver on the right.
10: Click Install
11: Reboot computer

I can now steam audio from my computer to a JBL Pulse 2. I like it because it allows me to connect to all the songs on iTunes on my computer. It is limited, as I understand most Bluetooth devices are, to a distance of maybe 30 feet, less if walls or other structures are in the way.

Have restarted computer, have checked for drivers online, both the mouse and keyboard are on but they cannot be found. It will detect all other Bluetooth-enabled devices in my house, but not these. Will return and buy one from Logitech instead.

It sees some of my bluetooth devices, but it won't connect to any them. The devices connect to my phone, no problem, so I know it's this piece of junk that's the problem. Cheap enough that it's not worth the hassle to deal with, but any product that doesn't work is too expensive. Buy something else.
