Tried linking with a newer Bluetooth device to no avail. It doesn't see the newer devices.

I bought this bluetooth adapter hoping to bluetooth capability to my win 10 PC. The package says it works with win10. When I plugged it in, the computer tried to install the software but failed. I downloaded one from the web. Installed it, and surprise! A message says it is not compatible with windows. It went back to BB.

This product probably works fine for other operating systems but I have Windows 7 64bit and it would not work. I did not look it up before going to the store so I just went and picked up what they had. Was very disappointed especially in Insignia's support.

As and IT girl this should have been piece of cake, to be honest had a hard time with this Bluetooth, originally I bought it to use it with my Bluetooth headset and my laptop, I did use it like 2 weeks and got frustrated that keep continuously disconnected. I had even update drivers, etc. and nothing. Finally stopped using it.

The main reason I got this was to use it with my blue tooth headphones, but it didn't connect. It can see the device, just not connect to it. With that said, I was able to connect my blue tooth keyboard and mouse (Apple keyboard and mouse) to my Windows laptop. I tried it on a Windows 7 and 10 laptop. Same result with audio devices.

I bought this to use on my desktop pc so i could listen to videos and movies through my bluetooth headset. It works great. No lag on movies or tv shows and connects automatically. Just wish these devices had longer connection distance. About 20 to 25 feet.

Does not work well with my PC and wireless mice. Tried different USB ports and different mice. I'd receive intermittent errors about the USB device not being recognized. Mice connectivity cuts in and out.

I connected this to a Windows 8 laptop that had been upgraded to Windows 10. It only took a few minutes to get it working with my bluetooth headset and microphone and was useful for Skype, AllStarLink, and other online communications and listening to music.

good and compact package, i think the pricing is best

I bought this for my older HP Pavilion so I could use my new Cricut machine. Plugged it into my front USB port and made a first project. Came in the next day to work on a project and it didn't work. I had to turn off the machine because the front had fallen off and the body was still inside my USB port. Piece of trash.

Insignia product failure. Vendor support provided self inconsistant (and confused) replies. No resolution timetable available. No working Broadcom driver available (Win 7). Also, Broadcom service failed to respond. However, as a third party component supplier, (Best Buy - Insignia - Broadcom) that is not a surprise.

Was surprised when I discovered my new laptop did not have built in Bluetooth. Simple solution. Plug in and download software. A few clicks later, instant connection. Clear sound, good range.

Not enough range, does not transmit around corners.

Works okay but the phone delivery rate is slow and nothing to do with the adapter.

It is a small usb Bluetooth adapter for a laptop. A bit pricey for what you get.

This is the 2nd toggle I have purchased from Best Buy and Insignia is their brand. It's May 15, 2020, and it wouldn't turn on, so I took it out of the USB connection and it just fell apart!!! COMPLETE CRAP!!! Will NEVER purchase this piece of crap again.

Did not work for me at all. The setup is supposed to be easy, you just plug it in and restart your computer. I followed the steps exactly and didn’t work. Looked on multiple forums to troubleshoot and absolutely nothing worked for me.

I'd give this 0 Stars if I could! PC sees it, knows what it is... Windows tossed its cookies all over the floor trying to find the proper drivers for it. Ultimately doesn't work. Going back first thing tomorrow morning!
