I gave this a shot and was not disappointed. It has good range (I get about 20 feet with interference; electrical, cellular and microwave) and no signal drops. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised. I did have to download the correct drivers for this device (fully updated Windows 10) but the link is listed in the installation booklet.

Doesn't work properly

The manufacturer does not distribute the driver, but claims it's contained in a Windows update. I have to check on forums for the name of the driver to select. The driver seems to work, I can connect a headpiece and the headphones work... but not the microphone. I check online some more and find the actual correct driver. Get that installed and now the microphone works, except now the audio cuts out from the headphones constantly and turning off my bluetooth device makes it unable to connect to my computer without going through the pairing process again... I bought the ASUS BT-500 to see if the problem was my computer or the Insignia dongle. After finding the appropriate driver on ASUS's site and uninstalling the Insignia dongle drivers, I can confirm the problem is the Insignia dongle. Don't buy this adapter, go buy the ASUS instead.
