Basic, cheap and immediate gratification
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm impressed that Best Buy is starting to sell at least some of their products at a lower cost, negating one's desire to just order online from a certain web marketplace. Seriously I don't think you can get a 2 pack of these bumpers for much cheaper, or at least cheap enough to justify ordering online and then waiting for them to come. The bumpers pretty much sell themselves after that. They fit the Apple Watch nice and snug and provide accidental bump protection all around, but no protection of the screen (this is not an issue for me, but the reader should note this fact - there is no built in screen protector with this bumper). The bumpers add bulk, though minimal, as you can imagine, but it's that minimal bulk that will provide some protection for your Apple Watch, so you want it to be like this. Other than that, the bumpers are relatively easy to get on and take off your Apple Watch in case you either want to swap them out or go 'bare.' Next time you're in the market, check Best Buy first, you'll likely find a good to great product at a good to great price with no waiting time.

Decent protection option
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always used a case on my Apple Watch that covered the screen as well as the sides so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the Insignia Bumper Cases for Apple Watch 42mm. I do like that you get 2 bumpers in the pack so that you can have a backup on hand if needed (particularly when it comes to having clear case options. My experience is that those tend to turn yellow or even darken to a smoky color over time). I particularly like that there is a black option in the pack which allows me to temporarily change the color of my watch without having to commit to a black one full time. The bumpers fit perfectly on my Series 9 Apple Watch without adding too much bulk. The bumper is still noticeable of course so if you prefer your watch profile to stay the same as it would without a protective case you will not be happy with this. The only thing I don’t love the screen still being exposed but I purchased a screen protector just in case and it fits perfectly without causing issues with the fit of the bumper. Ultimately this is a budget friendly protection option for anyone that wants simple protection for their investment.

It was nicely packaged and was relatively easy to assemble. I first tried the “bling” option, which added a unique flare of elegance to my apple watch. It makes the watch look much fancier and the bumper easily snapped on to the top of the watch. It was very comfortable and lightweight, while also providing full coverage around the trims of my watch. My only con about this specific bumper was that it was harder to use the buttons/adjustments on the sides of the watch, therefore it wouldn’t be the best option for day-to-day functionality. The champagne bumper is very sleek and comfortable as well, and is my preferred option of the two options for routine usage. The assembly requires you to detach the watch bands, but it feels a bit more sturdy and protective than the snap-on bling bumper. With a very similar comfort level as the other bumper, this one offers much better functionality of the buttons on the sides of the watch. Overall, I would highly recommend this product
