I bought a Quest 3 at Best Buy and had to come back 3 times and still did not get what I paid for - but that’s another story (see my other review).
Regarding this charging station: The first one I got was defective from the beginning. The right controller always showed as charged, though it wasn’t.
There is not much room for error (on my side, I also had a similar model for the Quest 2, and I consider myself a very experienced user), so I returned it and got a new one (an open-box one was on the shelf as well, which should have been a red flag).
The second one worked great for about 10 days, and then all of a sudden, the battery pack for the left controller had no charge. It was showing that it was charging, but it was not.
I returned it and got my money back. Altogether, I made 5 trips to the Best Buy store, wasted a lot of time, and still don’t have what I want.
On top of that - I contacted the Insignia customer service - the lady was very clueless and started reading some lines from the manual. Needless to say, that was a waste of time, too.

Seems like a good item to have for ease of charging, but it didn't quite fit the stand. The charging points on the dock were small, so placing the headpiece had to be exactly right or else it didn't charge. Also, seemed to have an affect on the performance of the headset.

Purchase this item as a new item which had no power cord and when I got home it was an open box item. Took item back and they only had 2 open box items available and wanted to give me one that had item with no items in plastic. What did i get for the inconvenience of having to return to the store, wait in line for 20 minutes, nothing but the same item with a power cord at the open box price. No additional discount. So much for the money I have spent at Best Buy over the past year or so. What horrible customer service. Not even sure the item works yet.

Defective and Annoying

Git this as a Christmas present for the kids. Charging headset is finicky because it doesnt stabilize well on the dock. The contact are always losing connection and the unit doesnt charge. Recently the light just started flashing when i placed the headset on it and then it quit charging the headset all together. Lights wont even come on to recognize its on the dock. The controllers still charge ok, but now we have to charge the unit separately. Pretty annoying.

Do not buy. Junk. One of the grips didn’t work directly after opening out of box but warranty had already elapsed while awaiting to give as present. Headset charger gave out after only few months.

I purchased an open box model, the left battery never charged. I returned it and purchased a new one and it came with a dead right battery. This is disappointing and frustrating.
