Device will not stay in stand with ANY strap replacement. I have one w/o battery and it still won’t stay in stand, tilts out, disconnecting charging. Not worth $60. Poor design for headset. Too late to return.

Most Expensive Controller Charger Out There!!!

I bought this charger a little over a month ago. I didn't use it for 1 week due to Quest 3 locking up and had to get a replacement one. When I got the replacement one it worked well for another week and a a few days. So in reality it worked good for 1 month. Now it doesn't charge the headset without going through a great deal of trouble shooting. I did all the fixes or suggestions from Meta and then the great internet search to see other peoples issues. But just to say where it is at right now is for the headset light is blue (supposed to be fully charge signal) and the light for the elite strap blinks amber (orange). That is with the headset at 11% charged. In other words it's better to have two charging plugs go into the headset and elite strap and just use this to charge the controllers since that charges. So in essence this will provide you with the most expensive controller charger on the market and nothing else.

Disappointing- Lasted for less than 2 weeks

I am so disappointed. I purchased this unit after receiving a Meta Quest 3 for Christmas. I had it plugged in for less than 2 weeks when we realized the unit was no longer charging. I tried repositioning in every way possible until finally realizing one of the small metal connectors was no longer connected. This is in a home where only adults reside, no horseplay has been involved with the unit and basic placement and removal from unit a maximum of 6 times took place in that period. Basically- standard use. What a waste! Makes me feel as though the additional cost for the official Quest charging station may be worth it. Wow!
