The bigger issue is the remote - which may work on the button you're pushing or will respond with the button that is next to it or two away. Nor can you find the code in a multi-remote control.

He bought this converter so he would have at least some TV channels before moving. Provides a great program list that might take a little bit to load, but shows all the current programs for each channel. Very helpful and unexpected plus.

It's not HD compatible, so we had to figure out how to get our TV channels to come in. We bought this Digital TV Converter Box, connected it to the tv and dvd player and tuned it in and what do you know, we have lots of tv channels to choose from, about 30. And we get the basics plus others.
