But please keep in mind that you have a one year manufacturer's warranty with it and you can apply it by taking the item to your closest Best Buy store with your receipt and referring directly to the Geek Squad counter. -Elsa A. For some reason, for the last five days or so the converter box has been shutting off and coming back on. Today, it shut down & did not come back on. I am concerned if the box has short in it or some other defect. I plan to return the box in a couple of days?????:(

Moving the antenna to other locations doesn't help.
