It’s doing what it says it’s suppose to. I’ve had only one minor hiccup with it, it stop working but just disconnected it and plugged it back in and have had no problems with it since then.

I've been looking for a travel dock for my Switch for a while. I found some from other online retailers but many stated they had issues...like bricking their Switch!!! Didn't want to risk it so I lugged around my stock dock and cables everywhere with me. Then I read about this Insignia dock and it seemed to work as expected. I pulled the trigger and tested it out when I got home. Sure enough, it works! It's much smaller than the original dock, with less USB ports, but it's travel friendly! Finally!

This dock works just as good as the Nintendo dock but for a lot less money. It also is smaller so it's easier to travel with.

This dock works just as good as the original regarding the picture quality. It's great having a second one for half the price of the OEM. The only difference I have noticed is that the dock does not release the switch as easily as the original. You might have to hold the dock down while pulling up the switch, but it's not a problem at all. Definitely worth the money. It didn't brick the switch, and I am confident that if it goes bad that Best Buy will back their product.

I decided to wait a year to make sure this Switch dock was indeed worthy of recommendation. We have it as a second dock for our Switch in the basement. I’ve read the reviews of other non-Nintendo docks not working with the Switch or even bricking their Switch, but no such problems with this particular model. Don’t take your chances. Either get this, or the stupidly overpriced Nintendo Dock.

This is the best replacement dock for the Nintendo Switch. It comes with every thing you need and it works exactly the same.

It includes hdmi and power cable, it's simply plug and play type that works fine without any issues.

Simple design allows you to take your Switch anywhere, and easier to carry than the original Switch base stand.

Good budget dock. Takes up less room than Nintendo’s, making it a great fit in my desk.

When gaming is life, or sometimes you just want to play a little longer before bed, or... you're travelling and need a little bit more Overcooked 2... This dock is great! I have the standard dock that comes with the Switch in my living room, then I have this one in my bedroom as well as one I have for travel purposes. It does exactly what is intended and it has all the parts, you don't need to buy an additional hdmi cable for this dock

this kit is a great value for the price if you want to have a second dock for a second room or something of that nature, it is very compact and better for travel then the included dock, only getting 4 stars because it seems the power adapter is slightly under powered that is included with this dock, which causes the console to charge slow and sometimes i have issues with it charging the controllers connected to the console as well but I've never had an issue connecting to a tv so would still recommend the dock

This dock has worked flawlessly for me. I like the small size, it's great for throwing in a bag and taking it with you.

I love the Nintendo switch and the ability to use it as a portable system. However like most systems, moving it from tv to tv is a pain. Buying an extra dock solves that problem but who wants to pay $80 for Nintendo’s unit. This dock works perfectly for Half the cost so I just pick up the tablet and bring it into my bedroom at night. The only downside is Nintendo’s unit has an aftermarket wall mount available for it and this one doesnt, at least to my knowledge.

The factory issued dock from Nintendo has the ability to control your TVs power state using CEC, meaning that you can turn on the console and your television simultaneously using nothing but your controller. This budget dock from Insignia does not afford you that luxury. Nonetheless, it stands as an absolutely excellent dock to pack for travelling due to its significantly smaller size and otherwise equivalent ability.
