This is a great option for a secondary dock. Whether its for a second TV in the house or for travel. We use it for travel. When we go to my parent's house for parties, we bring along our Switch and this dock so the kids and adults can use the switch on the big screen rather than bunch around the switch screen.

My granddaughter had her headphones plugged in playing an online game with her friend, she got a little carried away and the unit hit the floor. The docking station was no longer funtional so I purchased the Insignia. Works great for a fraction of the price to replace the original one.

This dock is cheaper than Nintendo's dock and gives the same result. HDMI output, and USB port for charging a controller. If you have multiple TVs in your home, this is worth adding to another to easily play and charge your Switch. I personally prefer the low profile on the front of this. Easily and securely docks your Switch console.

I was in need of a new dock for my switch, since the original was a bit expensive I decided to go with this insignia one, it is great, I have no regrets, simple to use and comes with everything needed. Also when you dock your switch you have no risk of scratching your screen. Give it a try you're gonna like it.

This is a great third party product. Not only for space but for accessibility compared to the original dock Nintendo provides with the Switch. If you have 50 bucks to spend, id highly suggest upgrading to this dock and ditching your old one

My original dock was acting up on me so I decided to purchase a new one. The thing about 3rd party docks is there's a scare that it might brick or Nintendo Switch. After a month of use I can assure you there is no worries of it bricking or damaging your Switch. Bonus: it's much smaller so it's easier to store it for travel.

I have had ZERO problems with this product, and I really like that it was priced about $50 less than the OEM model. There are lots of warnings about lower-priced docks negatively impacting the battery on the switch, but I have not noticed any issues.

I purchased this item over the Nintendo branded device because of the price difference. As other reviewers have stated the fact that the USB-C port is not spring loaded is very noticeable, but it works. Sometimes I have to power-cycle the device to get it to work if I haven't used it in a few days. If you don't feel like dishing out all the cash for the Nintendo dock, this one is definitely the way to go.

I was wavering on buying this as I've heard that 3rd party docks could brick the Switch. I read the wirecutter review and they seemed to like this particular dock from BB. I bit the bullet during BF and have it used it. It's nice addition to have and use as travel dock. Not too bulky nor too heavy.

Much cheaper and smaller than the official version. Worth it!

So far so great, it charges my switch and allows me to play on my 1080p screen. Haven't noticed any issues, and it fits pretty good even with a Zagg screen protector on. When you use the insignia grip case with it, it still fits albeit a little snug. Definitely would recommend as an alternative to the official Switch dock.

I was a little leery about buying this. I heard some non-Nintendo docks ruined consoles. This one works perfectly. A little tricky to get the Switch in there. But there are a couple guides to help you get it in. All-in-all, I’m glad I got it. No more disconnecting everything just to play it on another tv.

We bought this for use in another room and it works just as good as the original Nintendo version of the dock except this model does not have the little pegs to line up the Switch. It is nice to be able to see the screen while docked though.

So I was planning on getting an additional dock for my son’s switch so he could play on his TV in his room. I had no idea there was an aftermarket version for quite a bit less than the original Nintendo brand dock. Comes complete and easy install and works like a charm. What’s not to love? OEM quality and less cash!

As a frequent traveler, I always bring my switch because of how portable it is! So I wanted a dock kit that did the same and this just does it. It’s very lightweight and hardly takes up any room when traveling with it. Would absolutely recommend to anyone that wants a portable dock for their switch!

This is a great alternative to the official Nintendo dock. Everything works (power, video, USB support) identically to the official spare, except there is only one USB port and the docking mechanism is not spring-loaded, so you have to set the Switch in a little more gently. For the price, I'm willing to make those concessions.

This dock works just like the dock that comes with the switch. I set it up in my bedroom to be able to lay in bed and play on the TV in the evening. It comes with its own power adapter and usb ports as well. Great dock!

I have a Samsung TV and the original Nintendo Switch Dock doesn't work with Samsung Smart TVs for some reason. Can't believe this is still a problem in 2022. This insignia dock works great with the Samsung TV.
