I had to take off the slim Nyko case to test the dock and it was extremely tight with the screen protector still applied. I am returning it because I need to be able to use the safety gear while my kids still have butter fingers.

Great Alternative to the Original Dock

Well, I came across this when I was at BestBuy. I was a bit skeptical with purchasing it because there wasn't much reviews on it. To my surprise, it worked out great. Its nice and sturdy so it feels like its not cheaply made. It charges the Switch and it plays fine on my 55" TV. I did use my original charger though instead of the one that came with the docking kit... Same with the HDMI cable, I used the original just to be on the safe side.
