Also, the dock will stay on sometimes after you removed you switch. The green light doesnt go away. If that happens, your switch won't connect to the dock and give you an error. This happens to me every so often.

There is only one usb for wired controllers. Pressing the power button on the switch does not turn the tv on. Experienced some connectivity issues with the controller, but this could be due to my switch located behind the tv. Overall it does what it needs too.

I didn't have terribly high expectations, but this 3rd party accessory has blown me away. I appreciate that the screen is visible while docked and evening docking itself feels easier and more secure than the Nintendo dock.
