This is the first dock kit I've tested under $40 that works. And it works very well. Found some dongles that work as well, but those require an additional ac adapter.

Works exactly as you'd expect and a lot cheaper than the OEM dock. We picked this up to use as a 2nd dock in our bedroom. We haven't had any issues and it gets used every day.

This kit works well as a second docking setup for my Switch. The dock is smaller than the Nintendo version, and is more compact for travel use. I recommend it as a cheaper alternative to the Nintendo version.

Got this for less than half the price of the Nintendo dock, it works great and is even smaller, so its great for traveling. It includes an HDMI and charging cable as well. Definitely worth the money.

Super-sturdy, high-quality product that did exactly what I bought it to do: project my Nintendo Switch on the TV just like the official dock (it also recharges it!) Now I have a convenient dock to use on a different TV so that I don't have to constantly carry and reconnect the wires and dock of the official one when somebody else wants to use that TV. Even kept it at a friend's house for awhile, saving that extra burden and making things all the more convenient. It's also quite heavy-weight so if kids are around, it will take some effort for them to accidentally knock it over. All in all, a great buy!

I've actually never used the dock provided with the Switch after reading of issues where the dock is too right a fit after installing a tempered glass screen protector, where users were getting scuff/scratches on their Switch where the dock rubs against the console on the screen side. This Insignia dock removes that issue because it doesn't have the extended front plastic piece that covers the screen, meaning no chance of scratching the console up. It's worked perfectly and I'm glad I saw it on BestBuy.com. Best of all, it's half the price of the official Nintendo dock!

I needed a 2nd dock for another TV. This is half the price of the Original Nintendo Switch Dock. Works just like the original. As a bonus it has a smaller base so it’s easier to travel with.

More compact than the dock that comes with the Switch, and does the job just as well. I like to bring this one with me when I meet up with friends while keeping the original dock at home.

You get all the same features (minus one extra USB port) of the official dock for half the price. Comes with HDMI and charger cable too, I’d recommend these for secondary docks!

We purchased this doc so we could play it on the bedroom tv. It works as well as the original Nintendo dock that comes with this system! Definitely recommend this

This item does exactly what it is supposed to: it charges the Nintendo Switch and it lets you display the image from the Switch on your home TV so everybody can watch.

I needed an extra dock for a second TV. I did not want to spend the money on the high priced Nintendo replacement dock plus I was not thriled with the screen scratch risk with the original Nintendo dock. After reading many of the positive reviews on this Insignia dock I decided to try it. In short, it works as described. I actually use this as my primary dock for my switch as it is much easier to place it in an out of the unit due to the short front panel. I have not had any issues with the power light or reset as other reviewers have mentioned... I assume that was limited to older units. Based on my experience, this is a great, less expensive alternative to the original Nintendo dock.

Comes with all the accessories needed to make this dock work. Worked flawlessly out of the box. I use this one in my office so my wife can use the living room TV. Charges well and displays at 1080p.

Works fantastic never a single problem. Its a nice alternative to the much more expensive Nintendo Switch Dock. It travels easier as well.

works as expected. charges the switch. the real plus to it is the screen isn't entirely covered so sliding the switch in is less worriesome when you think about scratching the screen.

Great price for this dock. It does the same job as the Nintendo brand for half the price. I would defintely recommend if you are in need of a second dock or a new one.

Great addition to have if you plan on having another setup in your house for your Nintendo Switch. Like that it is easy to dock your system and prevents from scratching your screen.

this worked great for a second TV dock option. Cheaper than oem brand but it works the same. I'm not worried about frying my switch with this brand either.

Easy to connect and works just like the original dock. It’s nice to have a second dock to move between TVs between the living room and kid’s rooms

Been using this for three months daily . Works great and priced nicely. Makes it easy to switch from 1 TV in bedrooms to another and not have to rehook up the dock every time
