A necessity for both 3DS and DS

If you don't want to search Amazon or the Internet all day for a car charger for any 3DS or 2DS model and even as far back as a DS Lite car charger (FYI, this is also a wall charger for all 3DS, 2DS, and all DS models going back to the DS Lite). Just get this. It is worth the investment. Especially if like me you have a DS system.
