Did notr last very long and I was upset with this.

This set gets the job done. Nothing flashy but exactly what you expect when purchasing the charger.

Despite what it says, it is not compatible with the handheld.

These items are very useful. Our lights went out in our home and my ds xl needed a charge and I couldn't use any of my portable battery chargers. The car charger will be very convenient on trips and the cable will charge my xlds as well as my grandson's nintendo lite.

Overall, this kit does what it's intended to do: charge your 3DS systems via not only wall, but also car and USB. But the one issue I have is the cord is kind of short, much shorter than the official charger. If cord length is a concern, go for the official one, but this is a good one for versatility.

I am happy that I do not have to search high and low for a replacement charger. This works on all of my Nintendo portables which is really nice. It can be used with the included car adapter, the included wall adapter, or with any usb chargeable source. It is a good replacement!

Nintendo decided to not include a power cord with the New Nintendo 3DS XL. I guess they thought everyone had previous versions of the DS consoles and could just use the same ones. This handheld was my first so I thank Insignia for providing this. I like the car adapter, too.

The charger and cable are helpful during long trips in the car. I was able to also charge my phone with the car charger even though it says that it is for the 2DS and 3DS.

Fit the bill for ports, charging capabilities for the gaming device.

Great for charging 3ds when not near a wall outlet.

At first wanted the original Nintendo charger but this one is capable of charging 3ds and 2ds on the same sub cord. So it's nice to be able to share with friends.

Bought this for a 12 hour car ride and it worked perfectly with my car power socket. Good purchase.

Must have this you use travel a lot that way you can charge or play your system while traveling

Okay, so at first it was amazing. It worked fine, I was able to charge it while at my computer (USB) and when I was in bed (outlet). But there's two things I find incredibly annoying: 1. The cord is INSANELY short. I can't even lay in bed and play my 3DS without having to hang over the side of the bed so it reaches without pulling too hard on the cord. 2. The cord is apparently stupidly weak/sensitive. I don't know if it was the accidental tugging that did it, but the charger no longer works. I've tried various outlets, other USB ports. But still, my 3DS is dying and the charger does nothing. I have no way to know if it's the 3DS itself or not, either.

All the chargers you could ever need for any ds system for the car and home! Definitely the best value you'll find anywhere!!
