Took it out of the package, plugged it in to the iPad, and it flexed at the plug. Only one side of each of our ear buds had any sound. If you "jiggled" the splitter, sound would intermittently work, then back to sound from only one side of each of our earbuds. Terrible. Returned the splitter when we arrived back home.

Normal headphones plug in just fine, but this one won't stay in a headphone jack. It's still the plug itself is just slightly too long, while being just the tiniest fraction too thin so won't hold itself in a jack.
