Q: Does this Work With A DENON Receiver
A: This will work with any audio component that uses mini 1/8 plugs. This splits a single output and turns it into dual inputs or takes a dual outputs and turns it into a single input..
Q: Is the audio output mono or stereo?
A: Stereo
A: Doesn’t sound like the plug was seeded all the way, or you possibly have some dirt/grime in your 3.5mm port.
A: Yes it works with xbox and ps4
Q: Will this work to use 2 head phones with an ipad?
A: It should yes, just plug the headphones in the two ends and the single end in the iPad.
Q: Can this be used on a Sony camcorder to mute recordings?
A: Tough question to answer without knowing which camcorder model from Sony you're working with. Some have built in mics that you should be able to mute while recording-usually a feature of the camcorder. If your camcorder has an external mic port, you can plug anything into it, and the camcorder will assume the audio is coming from the port, but if you don't have anything connected to the plug, the film will have no sound. You don't need this dongle if that's all you want to do. They even sell the audio/mic plugs with no wires attached you could use. All you're doing is defeating the camcorders ability to record sound or play it back if it has plugs in the port(s) on the camera not connected to anything. The picture will be fine...although you may want to either narrate or use subtitles:-)
A: Your reply was insufficient re the Koss splitter. We have since purchased a Belkin 5-way splitter and both Bose headphones and ear buds work great and require no adjustment. Suggest you discard the Koss product and focus on Belkin. Thanks.
